Shelter Reservation Information

*The City of Jefferson has five park shelters which can be rented by calling or stopping in at the Jefferson Park and Recreation Department.  Reservations are accepted beginning the first working day in January of each year (walk-ins are accepted before phone reservations).  

*A $100 deposit, in a separate check, will be required for every rental.  The fee, deposit, and the signed reservation agreement must be returned to the office within one week of the reservation.  

*Shelters are available at Stoppenbach Park and Riverfront Park between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.  Each shelter offers electricity, access to fresh water, dusk to dawn lighting, picnic tables and trash receptacles.
