All card games begin at 1:00 p.m. A
donation of $1.00 is requested. Refreshments are served and cash prizes
awarded. The first card for Bingo is $1.00 then $0.50 cents per
card with a $2.00 limit. Admission for Penny Bingo on the 5th Tuesday is
only $1.00 for 3 cards. All money collected is paid out in prizes, refreshments
are served. Come and enjoy your center!

Advisory committee meetings
Advisory Committee Meetings are held the second
Monday of each month at 10 a.m. All Center participants are
encouraged to attend.

SPECIALIST
Benefit Specialist, Denise Grossman, comes to the
Center the first Thursday of the month from 10 - Noon to answer questions.
She is an advocate for seniors. Appointments are encouraged,
walk-ins are welcome. For more information, please contact Denise at

This event takes place the 3rd Wednesday of each
month at 1:00 p.m. There is music, games, prizes, cake & ice cream.
If it is your birthday month, we will give honor to you. We welcome every
senior of the community to this fun event.

COUNTY HEALTH NURSE
County Health Nurse, Linda Meyer, visits the
Center on the third Tuesday of odd numbered months from 11:00 a.m. - Noon. Blood
pressure checks are provided at no charge.
EUCHRE PARTIES ON
SUNDAYS
Parties are held four times a year
and begin at 1:00 p.m. Check the Newsletter or Calendar Online for More
Information.
Foot Care Clinic
There will be a foot care clinic done by a trained R.N. There will be a
$10.00 fee and bring your own towel. Check the Senior Center Monthly
Calendar for dates and times.
LEARN TO PLAY EUCHRE
& 500
Senior volunteers come in and
help teach the card games Euchre & 500 to anyone wishing to learn. Great
social activity!

Personal
History Writing Group
Personal History Writing Group meets the third
Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. Under the direction of MaryLou Santovec,
a writer for the Waukesha Freeman and other publications, each participant will
craft their own journal. Reminiscence writing for future generations or chronological
reporting can be a wonderful gift to share with friends and family. No
charge, but do bring your imagination. All are welcome, this is an
on-going group, work at your own pace.

police talk
Every 3rd Tuesday
of each month at 11:00 a.m. local police officers will talk on fraud and
seniors, security and other items of importance in today's society. Each
session will have a Question and answer period.
SENIOR DINING AND
MEALS ON WHEELS
The Senior
Dining and Meals on Wheels program is a county-run program held at the Senior
Center. Fresh catered meals are made and delivered daily. The lunch
is served cafeteria-style at the Senior Center, while the meals on wheels are
delivered by volunteers to shut ins and those that need the help or extra
nutrition. To order a meal, please call by 12:00 p.m. one day in advance
to make your reservation. Please call 675-0102.
