* The Jefferson Rec. Department is in need of Outdoor Soccer coaches for grade levels 1-2 and 3-4. If you are interested; please contact the Rec. Dept at 674-7720.
* Pony League, Little League, and Major League programs are full. If people want to put their name on a waiting list; they can. If anyone drops out; we can add them to the list.
The Recreation Department offers three easy ways to register:
•Walk-In You may register in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation office, 317 South Main Street.
•Mail-In Send completed form with check made payable to: City of Jefferson. You will receive no notification unless the program is filled or canceled. Attend the class as instructed on the permission slip.
•24-Hour Drop Box Simply drop off your registration in our Drop Box located at the East Dodge Street entrance to City Hall. It is accessible 24 hours a day and checked daily weekdays.

RESIDENCY - A resident for registration purposes, is anyone who lives within the Jefferson School District. Any person residing outside the District boundaries will be considered a non-resident and assessed an additional 25% fee.
FEE ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - Through the generous donations of several local service groups, a Scholarship Program is available to participants unable to pay fees. Confidential applications are available at the Recreation Department. The applicant may be granted a 50% reduction in fee or payment plan at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS - All cancellations due to weather and/or facility conditions will be announced on WFAW (AM-940). Cancellation of Adult League play will be made by 4:00 p.m. Team captains should call after 4:00 p.m. and notify their team members.
NO SMOKING/ALCOHOL USE POLICY - A reminder to program participants: The use of all tobacco products or drinking of alcoholic beverages on premises owned by the Jefferson School District is prohibited by State Law. Your cooperation in upholding this law is necessary & appreciated.
LOST/STOLEN ITEMS - The department is not responsible for personal equipment, clothes, etc. that are lost or stolen during participation in any sponsored activity. Please contact our office concerning lost items as many times they are turned in by others.
