City Ordinance 265-4(A)
     The City of Jefferson winter parking regulations begin on December 1^st and run through March 31^st. Parking is permitted on the side of the street which has even numbered house numbers on the even numbered days of the month, and on the side of the street which has odd house numbers on the odd numbered days of the month. The day shall commence at 12 noon and continue for 24 hours thereafter. For example: from noon on December 1^st until noon on December 2^nd, your vehicle should be parked on the odd side of the street. From noon on December 2^nd to noon on December 3^rd on the even side of the street and so on. This allows the city crews to plow both sides of the street, curb to curb, in a given workday. The City of Jefferson has no "snow emergency" regulations but residents are encouraged to use off street parking when heavy snow is forecast. Your cooperation will enable the plow crews to clear streets quickly, and more efficiently.
