ON STREETS
City Ordinance 265.4(D)(3) Parking Restrictions.

No person shall park any trailer not hitched to a motor
vehicle on any City street or parking lot without having obtained a
permit from the Police Department, The fee for such permit shall be as
set by the Common Council, and the permit shall be limited to seven days
but may be renewed. For the purpose of this subsection, "trailer" shall
include any obstruction of the City street or parking lot, other than a
motor vehicle, except debris from natural causes. The prohibition
against parking of trailers does not apply to South Ryan Avenue and
South Industrial Avenue during the period of September 15 through
October 31. During this period trailers shall not be parked within 25
feet of any intersection or within 20 feet of an existing driveway on
the east side of South Ryan Avenue. No trailer shall be parked on either
of said streets for more than 48 consecutive hours. Trailers so parked
in the street shall have a three-foot plank placed under the dolly
wheels and the wheels shall be chucked. |
