The following is not a complete list of the benefit package.
Full Time Wages 2008: Start $3459.29 per month or $20.48 per hour
Part Time Wages 2008: $14.96
Sick leave: Sick leave is accumulated at the rate of 1 day per month up
to a maximum of 120 days. Eligibility will start after 6 months but the
accrual will be retroactive to the time of first employment. There is also a
sick day "bank"of 3 days per each year of employment that can be used when
regular sick days are used up.
Probation: New employees are on probation for the first eighteen (18)
months of Employment.
Holidays: There are 10 paid regular holidays during the year and 1
floating holiday.
Vacations: Vacations are accrued in the following manner:
a. After 1 year of employment, 1 week vacation.
b. After 2 years of employment, 2 weeks vacation.
c. After 7 years of employment, 3 weeks vacation.
d. After 8 years of employment, 3 weeks and 1 day vacation.
e. After 9 years of employment, 3 weeks and 2 days vacation.
f. After 13 years of employment, 4 weeks vacation.
g. After 14 years of employment, 4 weeks and 1 day vacation.
h. After 15 years of employment, 4 weeks and 2 days vacation.
i. After 21 years of employment, 5 weeks vacation.
Clothing allowance: None the first year. $471.00 per year after that.
Reimbursement of the first years allowance after 1 year of service.
Part time officers get $100.00 per year.
Pension: The city pays 100% of the Wisconsin retirement benefits for
employees.
Insurance: The employee pays 4.5% of premiums for health insurance and
the city pays 75% of dental
insurance.
The employee pays co-pay of $20 per office visit up to $120 per year.
